Jeanette brings over 25 years of professional experience and education to her classes. After graduating from UCLA, she began her career by teaching Dance, Gymnastics and Yoga in 1972 at Westlake School for Girls (now Harvard-Westlake) in Los Angeles. Next, Jeanette became a professional writer, writing for several popular animated children's television shows (MGM Animation, Nelvana), penning feature film scripts (Ames Communications) and designing educational interactive programs (Fox New Media, Universal New Media, Tir Na Nog Designs, The Brighter Child Series). She is currently a member of the Writers Guild of America. Jeanette started teaching for LAUSD, Division of Adult and Career Education in 2000, where she has also served as a Faculty Advisor. Her classes have been featured in numerous newspaper articles (Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily News) and cable TV ("Aging in LA"). She has also been a featured speaker at numerous professional conferences (LAUSD, West Hollywood Book Fair, California Writers Conference, Southern California Genealogy Conference).
